Congressman John Lewis celebration

A local celebration honoring the late Congressman John Lewis will be held Saturday, September 19th at 3pm outdoors at the Clarence Faulkner Community Center, 1221 West 12th street in Marion. There will be a tree planting in his memory and voter registration on site. Please wear masks and observe social distancing. Chairs provided or you may bring your own chairs. An essay contest for students at Grant County schools, including colleges, is being held in conjunction with this event.
