Workers at Community Howard Regional Health are now turning leftovers into dog and cat treats, according to the Kokomo Perspective.
The upcycled treats are part of a new initiative to reduce kitchen waste.
The Perspective, which states the initiative began a month ago, says the hospital has made more than 400 bones so far for the Kokomo Humane Society.
