Tyson Chicken Recall

Tyson chicken has announced they are recalling nearly 8.5 million pounds of frozen chicken.
The reason behind the recall is possible listeria contamination.

“This is a health hazard situation where there is a reasonable probability that the use of the product will cause serious, adverse health consequences or death.”

The CDC has issued a food safety alert as well, saying this could be the cause of 3 illnesses and 1 death.
They warn not to eat the product, either return them or throw them away.
People with questions about the recall can call or text 1-855-382-3101, the company said, noting customer service representatives will be available beginning Sunday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. CDT.
