Spencer pride group upset with proposed county rules that might shut down pride fests

The pride group in Spencer is upset with Owen County’s new proposed rules for festivals.
The county’s board of commissioners is looking at a new series of fees, to cover police and EMS services as well as things like water and electricity.
But the proposal also includes a ban on selling or displaying anything that is sexually suggestive.
Spencer Pride president Jonathan Balash says the new rules are targeted at their pride festival and are designed to shut them down.
