Well known businessman and former Marion city councilman Steve Wright has been named the director of development for the Marion Ivy Tech campus.
He will work to build community connections and raise funds for Ivy Tech students and programs.
Wright, who recently retired as a district sales manager for General Motors, started his new position yesterday.
