Oak Hill Teacher Sues Sheriff’s Dept. Over Allegations

An Oak Hill teacher has filed a federal lawsuit against the Grant County Sheriff’s Department over charges of Child Seduction that were filed against him in 2016.  But those charges were ultimately dismissed.
That same teacher is now under scrutiny again and has been placed on indefinite administrative leave.
Industrial Technology teacher Mitchell Hueston was charged with inappropriately touching a then 16-year old girl in the summer of 2016 and was then suspended by Oak Hill Schools.  He was re-instated after the charges were dismissed.
Now, the “Chronicle-Tribune” reports that Hueston has been placed on administrative leave again.  The Oak Hill school board has scheduled an executive session for Monday night that will deal with an un-named employee’s conduct.
In his federal lawsuit against the Sheriff’s Department, Hueston claims a detective presented fabricated evidence against him…a claim the Sheriff’s Department has denied.
Hueston’s suit is now pending in federal court.
